12 Jan Highest of Spanish Foodgasm Moments
Not doing a good job at trying to recover from my travel coma by featuring the highest Spanish foodgasm moments!
1. THE best paella in all of Spain is in Valencia and the best restaurant to visit while in Valencia is Navarro. A small family run restaurant that’s been creating waves since 1951 is a sea food paradise. Reserve in advance, go for their local wine recommendations and you’re set!
2. For an easy quick tapas stop, try the nationwide popular chain called Tapa Tapa. I’m a fan of boutique restaurants but this chain maintains some good service and food quality standards (plus their Sangria stole my heart).
3. Hofmann! I’ve fallen head over heels for them. It is difficult to find a good patisserie that’s comparable to the Parisian patisseries while in Spain but Hofmann does a pretty good job of satisfying those sweet cravings after some spicy tapas. Hofmann is rated as the best Patisserie in Barcelona excelling in chocolate specialities and it definitely stood true to the acclaim. Try their mascarpone and chocolate croissants if you don’t believe! Conveniently located in the touristy Gothic Quarters, it has to be on your must visit list.
